jonas <3 project blog 11/19-23/09

11-19 we got the material today for our question. material: glass beaker, glass test tube, heater, and test tube molder.
first we set up the barometer with water.
-we plugged the heater's plugger.
-we waited for like fifteen minutes. the water in the test tube started going down little by little.
we totally got surprised because it went against our hypothesis. (we thought the water line was going to go up.)
then we started seeing vapor.
we realized the water particles were evaporating! :O
-since class was almost over we turned the heater off but drew a line on where the water was at the moment in the test tube.
-...it was also bubbling. :)
and they were moving fast!!

11-20
the next day the water went up a little in the test tube. maybe because the air cooled down.. :)
mr. kruse put sand in the beaker because it was "bumping" on the heater. :O
there was foam stuff in the test tube toward the top; the water was at the bottom of the tube.
raul said there was a rainbow at the bottom of the beaker, probably because of the sand. waves are starting to come at the bottom.
hypothesis from bubble explosion war: they're trying to evaporate.
-bubbles at bottom are exploding.the water level has gone down.

11-23
today we began typing the final report. :O
Raul and David are doing data and analysis. Kailey and I are doing introduction.
